Top o'the meowrning to you, feline fam. Some people are just lucky, you know? Like, some people always find money in their jeans pockets or get every green light on their way to work. Others of us are stuck waiting 10 minutes just for the light to change. And this luck goes for being in good standing with the Cat Distribution System as well. We praise the CDS pretty much daily, and yet, we have only been visited by the CDS once in our lives. Although we remain feline faithful, we might never be as lucky as the purrson in this post.

They did the good deed of rescuing two stray cats from the streets, but the kitty cosmos had another plan for them. Overnight, the number of cats they rescued went from 2…. to 12! We love cats and we will always help a cat in need, but we've never raised 12 cats at once before. You need to be a real expurrt to get through that situation with your sanity still intact!

We hope, feline fam, that one day we will never have to post about something like this ever again.

We truly hope for that world, where there will be no more people who think it's okay to just dump a living animal in a random parking lot and leave with no consequences. We hope that there will be no more cats that could face life on the street, needing homes. But today is not that day, and we have a long way to go before we get there.

Today, instead of wishing for change, we're going to celebrate the present. Thanks to a friendly fellow cat lover, the kitten in this post now has a loving family and will never have to expurrience a life of hardship. They caught two people dumping him in a Petsmart parking lot, and they swooped in to save the kitty and the day. Unfortunately, the two escaped, but all that matters is that this cute kitty is okay. Thank you, hooman!

Even though cats, as pets, are low-maintenance relatively to some other animals, there is still a whole lot that you need to know about them. Just like any other pet, cats have their own quirks. For example, you have to figure out how to get your cat to drink more water because sometimes, cats just don't feel like doing it. You have to learn some practical ways to enrich your cat's environment, because even though cats don't like doing too much, boredom can still be an issue with them. You need to learn your cat's language - to communicate with them in a way that they understand.

And you have to know, of course, that if you let your cat out, that will come with a whole other set of challenges. Like… your cat going to visit your neighbor sometimes. And if that neighbor is nice and likes cats, that cat might end up liking your neighbor too and visiting more often, and no, you cannot throw tantrums when that happens.

While the working week winds on, there are certain things that we begin to miss more and more. It begins with your hobbies, they are always first to go. Then comes your time with friends, after all, who has the will power to crack jokes after a day at the office. And finally, your family. After almost a whole week of barely being home, and bashing your head against the wall, it can be really tough to feel as though you are far from your family, the only unit who can catch you when you fall.

So we rallied up some of our feline fam, and set about creating this collection of heartwarming feline family photos to give you an afternoon of pawdorable awws, equivalent to paging through your firstborn's photo album. So sit back, relax and get ready to have your emeowtional reserves restored with these wholesome cat photos.

Cat parents know: when it comes to our feline family, we'll go to the ends of the earth. Whether it's clearing space in a tiny apartment, budgeting for their favorite food, or braving a passive-aggressive group chat just to adopt two bonded fluffballs - we do it all out of love. Because once a cat chooses you, they're not just a pet. They're comfort. They're companionship. They're home.

So when life throws frustrating obstacles (like surprise fees or broken promises), our first instinct is still to fight for them. Not because it's easy, but because we can't imagine life without our cats. This couple here was ready to give a lucky cat a loving forever home. They had the resources, the heart, and even the green light… until one bitter twist tried to claw it all away. But if you've ever loved a cat, you already know - cat people don't give up that easily.

Not all people are born the same. We know that. But did you know that the same is true for cats as well? Sure, you have your large cats and your ginger cats and your hairless cats, but that is not what we are talking about. We are talking about cats that are born with two noses, and cats that are born with four ears, and cats that are born with two faces. Medical mysteries. Incredible conditions that you look at and wonder… how is that even possible?

That is precisely what happened when this shelter brought in this kitty. A sweet cat - friendly, affectionate and very, very special. Because this cat was, somehow, born with six legs. Yes, you read that right. The theory is that this kitty absorbed a twin in utero and retained its legs somehow. No one knows how, but what we do know is that this condition is one that was hurting this kitty, and something had to be done about it.

This hooman is doing everything in their power to help a once-feral kitten feel comfortable, and their level of patience deserves a round of appaws. They rescued the little guy from a field about a year ago and he was skittish from day one, but after a tough health battle that required months of treatment, his social progress seems to have hit the paws button.

Now, he lives in a peaceful setup with all the feline luxuries: a cat tree, toys, private litter box, consistent meals, and absolutely no forced interaction. The hooman's gone all out with calming diffusers, fixed routines, soft voices, and even the occasional visit from a friendly, well-adjusted house cat. Still, the kitten prefers the great indoors of Under the Bed™ and rarely ventures out unless the coast is completely clear.

The goal isn't cuddles or Instagrammable moments. Just for the kitty to have a basic sense of safety and trust. With a possible move on the horizon and less space to work with, this hooman's just hoping to keep giving the little one a chance to thrive, even if he's taking the scenic route there.

Procrastination is the cat's meow when it comes to dodging work. We all know the drill. Putting off that big project feels easier than chasing a red dot, and suddenly the hours vanish like a sneaky cat disappearing under the couch. Instead of tackling deadlines, we nap, snack, or get distracted by anything that isn't the task at paw.

Work piles up, but like a clever kitty avoiding bath time, procrastination has a way of sneaking in and making itself comfy. Maybe it's the allure of just one more scroll or a quick catnap that turns into a full-on snooze marathon. Before you know it, the clock's ticking louder than a purring cat demanding dinner.

It's a classic cat conundrum. Knowing you should be working but finding every excuse to delay. After all, why do today what you can put off until tomorrow? The to-do list may grow, but for now, the couch looks a lot cozier than that spreadsheet.

Now here is a story that us cat lovers will get a good kick out of. Because there is hardly anything more annoying than hearing a dog lover bark at you about how much better dogs are than cats. Pointing out that they can pet their pup whenever they want, sleep together like peas in a pod, and even run through fields and forests together like Disney movie characters.

It is lame, and it is getting old. Which is what makes this feline fronted story so satisfying, as we get to watch a timid dog guy, slowly turn into a feline fanatic, day by day, week by week. And before he knows it he is deeply in love with a creature who attacks his bottom at four in the morning to wake him up for breakfast. It is the purrfect story to share with any doggo doter who dare tell you that dogs are better than cats.

Life is a funny thing, you never quite know how it is going to shake out. You start by doing one thing that feels right, and before you know it, you have landed yourself deep into a pile of problems that you had no idea were coming your way. Now problems can be good, we will give you that, and certainly in the case of this heroic hooman who took on a lost cat soul, that is the case.

But problems still need to be handled, and that takes a lot of effort. Thankfully, that is effort that this pawrent was up for handling and the story gets a sweet and satisfying ending. And is likely a lot to do with the Cat Distribution System which orchestrated the whole scenario. For they are a wise bunch and very much know what they are doing when it comes to surprising hoomans with cats who need their love.

Being a cat person isn't just a personality trait, it's a full-on lifestyle. We don't just like cats - we need cats. We need their judgmental stares, their dramatic flops, their soft meows, and their majestic loaf formations. We need them like we need air, snacks, and wi-fi. And when we can't be physically near our feline overlords? That's where the internet steps in.

Because in the middle of a long workday, a bad mood, or a heatwave of life nonsense, we need a cool-off. Not with a fan or iced latte (though those help). No, we need a brain-chilling scroll through the finest feline funnies this side of the web.

This one is for all of us, honorary crazy cat ladies (regardless of gender, age, or number of actual cats). Because sometimes you just need to mentally crawl into a cardboard box, knock over a glass for no reason, and scroll through a whole bunch of cat memes. And we say that with love, because… well, we need cats. Always.

It's the middle of the week, which means you're probably mentally checked out by now. In fact, we checked out yesterday, but don't tell our boss that. It's the unfortunate condition that happens to us every time we reach that midweek slump, where no amount of coffee, sweet snacks, or bathroom breaks can meowtivate us to work. We're working hard (and by that, we mean hardly working), so while we're wandering through the deep corners of our hooman minds, we might as well scroll through some midweek cat memes that start with meows and end with mentally moving into a cardboard box.

We'll start off easy-peasy, with cute cat memes that are as silly as they are awwdorable. And then, as you scroll down further, you'll find that the memes are more molded to your midweek mental state. By the end, you'll be fully transformed into a house cat that sits in their cardboard box all day and doesn't even know what a job is. Sounds purrfect, right?

Back in our grandcat's day, a feline family of four could live with two hoomans for one quarter of the cost of today. Now, we're a dual-income family with two feline children, and we're struggling to make ends meet. The cost of everything has gone up, from vet expenses to tuna, and it's about time we told our cat children that the dreaded day has come: it's time for them to get a job. We're about to be a quadruple-income household, and you know what the sad thing is? Our cats have better job awwpportunities than we do!

It's not just their meowster's degrees that are helping them; it's their cuteness as well. They don't even have to do that much and they still get a steady paycheck at the end of the month. And no, they didn't start an OnlyPaws (although we have thought about it). If you're like us and you need your cats to start bringing home some metaphorical bacon, scroll through the purrfessional pictures of funny financial felines below. They're pawsitively inspirational.

Losing your cat is one of the worst experiences that you can have as a cat owner. The feeling of your heart sinking, the fear of something happening to your cat, frantically looking for it. Now, sometimes, you find your cat hiding somewhere silly and realize that it was all one big false alarm. And sometimes, it's real, and the cat comes back, and we end up getting some of the most heartwarming cat and human reunion stories ever. And truly, we have seen some amazing stories like that, but the one… is one of our favorites.

This lost cat didn't simply come back. It wasn't found by its human. It wasn't hiding somewhere just for fun, as far as we know. This kitten came back… with the help of another cat. Now, the owner wonders if this was something that the cat did on purpose or an accident, but we think that this is something that simply cannot be accidental. Your cat brought your kitten back.

We are not sure how, but somehow, cats have gained a reputation for being solitary animals when, in reality, they are very much the opposite. Of course, we, as cat owners, know that cats love humans very, very much, and they get incredibly attached. But maybe the best example of how much cats love company is big cats. They're not domesticated, they have no incentive, they just want the company, and they are willing to take that company in a whole lot of different forms.

We have seen lions become best friends with dachshunds, despite their incredible size difference. We have seen panthers befriend Rottweilers and humans, making for an interesting little family. We have even seen a cat - just a regular cat - adopt a lynx and raise it alongside her own kittens, and the lynx was purrfectly happy with that arrangement. And today, you're about to meet another wholesome little family in the form of a Golden Retriever momma and the three white Bengal tiger cubs that she adopted.

One thing a cat mom will not stand for is a man trying to control her life with that cat. Our feline is a prized purrson in our lives, and someone who tries to take them away from us is not a furriend I want around.

If you were in a relationship that seemingly ended, you wouldn't consult the person from that relationship in your major life decisions, right? Adopting a cat is a big lifestyle choice, but once you determine you exist as a single person, independent from others, you make choices that align with your values. That's why being a single cat lady is aspirational! You do whatever you want, when you want, with your favorite kitty cat!

In this next story, a woman decides to adopt a cat from her coworker, who seemingly was romantically interested in her. The woman is coming off a fresh breakup, so she adopts the cat for herself and her children. When the woman's ex comes back into her life, he tries to convince her to get rid of the cat because it is a reminder of a suitor she had during their break, despite this being a one-sided attraction. Scroll below to see the best choice she could have made for herself and her children.
